Overview:
Zack Knauer is a singer-songwriter currently occupying Orlando, Florida. Though the majority of his music has a solid acoustic foundation, his style varies drawing inspiration from many music genres including: Rock, Soul, Folk, Pop, Emo, Blues, R&B, Doo wop, Motown, Hiphop, etc. Artists he often draws comparisons to include: Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Gavin DeGraw, and Dashboard Confessional, among others.
With a strong understanding of the human condition, and a lyrics driven approach to song writing, Zack wishes to provoke the listener to feel the same emotions he felt when writing the songs.
"Truthfully, I write most of the songs for me. When I have thoughts or feelings I want to express I usually put them into a song. Although, I write most of the songs for my own peace of mind I also try to think of the listener. If people are going to hear the songs it's important that they can relate them to their own lives. Otherwise, the song won't mean anything to them. It's a great feeling when someone tells you they love one of your songs because it meant something to them. When someone 'get's it' it's a wonderful thing!"
